Job Description

The Learning Community, a vibrant public charter school, seeks creative, reliable, energetic, Guest Teachers who are familiar with standards-driven instruction, who work collaboratively and plan thoughtfully, and who are interested in being part of a close-knit school community with opportunities for growth. Our rigorous curriculum emphasizes literacy and numeracy as a leadership tool to grow student independence and voice. Our teachers enjoy autonomy, collaboration, and leadership. Spanish language skills a plus.

Being a Guest Teacher at The Learning Community means becoming part of a welcoming and intentional professional community. Our Guest Teachers report to the building Monday through Friday and enjoy opportunities for classroom observations when they are not actively covering a classroom. Excellent Compensation: Guest teachers receive a highly competitive $160.00 per day.
