Job Description

Job Goal: The Weight Room Supervisor will monitor the high school weight room, supervise students and the SHS sports team with strength training and workouts.


Must have experience working with youth and must have appropriate certification. 


Bachelor’s degree
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certified
Strong communication skills
Strength and conditioning certification required



Supervise weight room during posted schedule
Develop and execute preseason and midseason work out plans for all sports
Maintain the cleanliness of the weight room/fitness room facility and equipment
Ability to implement emergency medical procedures
Educate and enforce proper strength training principles and teach proper mechanics
Provide avenues for fitness education to student-athletes (i.e. plyometric training, speed and conditioning workouts)
Enforce all facility policies and rules
Anticipate potential risks of injury and take measures to prevent future injury


Terms of Employment:
Part Time / Up to 10 Hours per week
School Year Schedule – Monday thru Friday
Summer Schedule – Monday thru Thursday
