Job Description

 

Program Goal:  Summer Partners for Language and Learning (SPELL) provides Multilingual Learners theme-based language development activities in the morning and enrichment experiences provided by community partners in the afternoon.

 

SPELL Parent Paraprofessional Intern

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising children in informal and formal settings
  • Ability to support children in learning activities
  • Ability to supervise children in recreation activities
  • Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team member
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Reliable and ability to maintain a schedule
  • Bilingual/multilingual and ability to communicate with diverse students and families

Terms of Employment:

Seasonal/Yearly Appointment

Program Schedule: July 6, 2022 - August 5, 2022

Stipend:  $19 per hour worked 

 

Mandatory Traning to be held the week of June 27th       

 

Reports to:  District Director of Summer Programs and Director of the SPELL Elementary Programs
