Hudson High School seeks a Wellness Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year who would be excited to join a passionate team of Wellness teachers offering a dynamic health and physical education curriculum to grades 8-12.

Hudson Public Schools Wellness Department Mission Statement: The Hudson Public Schools Wellness Department empowers every student to acquire evidence based skills for lifelong health and wellness. Students will demonstrate an understanding of this content and develop health literacy, self-management, promotion and advocacy. Guided by Massachusetts State Health Frameworks and National Health Education and Physical Education Standards, this comprehensive program provides a safe learning environment that respects the diversity of all individuals. The Wellness program provides each student with critical thinking, social/emotional, and problem solving skills that will assist in understanding the importance of wellness and their responsibility to their community.

    Job Requirements

    • MA DESE Certifications required:
      Physical Education (grades 5-12)
      Health/Family and Consumer Science (All grade levels)

      Ability to communicate in Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred.
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
