ANNOUNCEMENT OF A VACANCY 

Door Monitors
SOMERVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

 

Guidelines: The Door Monitor is responsible for monitoring the main entrance of the school, and for maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with the staff, children, and families in the programs.

 

Qualifications:
•Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
•Excellent Attendance Record

 

Responsibilities:
•Screens visitors before allowing them into the building
•Operates desk/bell intercom to allow people to come in through the Main office for Afterschool pick up
•Directs parents/guardians to specific rooms of academic and activity clubs that their student participates in
•Answer phones in the Main Office and transferring calls
•Other duties as assigned

 

Position Reports to: Director and Assistant Director of Community Education
