The Orleans Central Supervisory Union is comprised of two school districts (Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School and Lake Region Union High School) supporting six K-8 elementary schools, the Orleans Central Early Childhood Program, and Lake Region Union High School.

Orleans Elementary School is a small K-8 school. We are a caring and dedicated team of educators that works hard in support of our entire school community.

Orleans Central Supervisory Union is located in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom which is known for scenic and rugged area of hills, sugarbushes, farmland and lakes. While our communities are small, they are truly that, a community that people are proud to be a part of. While we are rural, scenic drives will land you at Burke Mountain, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, and Jay Peak for skiing, opportunities, mountain biking at Kingdom Trails, fishing at the local lakes, and other outdoor activities. Our area is known for its sugar houses, which features Sugar on Snow in early spring, offering enjoyment for all ages.

Orleans Elementary School is looking for a math & literacy interventionist. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic, friendly staff climate. The OES teachers work well together, support each other, and are always willing to go the extra mile for students.

Purpose: To create a rigorous intervention program for students who have been identified as requiring Tier II and Tier III interventions and to support universal screenings, data entry, and data teams.

Responsibilities:
- Provide small group reading and/or math interventions for students identified as needing Tier II and Tier III support
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, other interventionists, special educators, and the principal to design and implement an effective intervention program
- Monitor and track student progress
- Attend EST/progress monitoring meetings, data meetings, and other meetings as determined by the principal
-Help administer diagnostic and district assessments, progress monitor, and enter progress monitoring data as needed
