Job Description
Math Interventionist, possible middle school math focus, needed for the Brownington Central School.

Purpose:
To create a rigorous intervention program for students who have been identified as requiring Tier II and Tier III interventions and to support universal screenings, data entry, and data teams.
Responsibilities:
-Provide small group reading or math interventions for students identified as needing Tier II and/or Tier III support.
-Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, other interventionists, special educators, and the principal to design and implement an effective intervention program
-Monitor and track student progress
-Attend EST/progress monitoring meetings, data meetings and other meetings as determined by the principal
-Help administer diagnostic and district assessments, progress monitor and enter progress monitoring data as needed

Job Requirements
-
-Experience teaching in a K-8 setting required
-Vermont Educator’s License
-Experience with Eureka Math program strongly preferred
-Able to collaborate with many teachers, coaches and administrators
-Able to manage a flexible schedule and work with students in K-8 in math and maybe reading, writing, and social skill development as necessary
