Job Description
Spaulding High School is the oldest continuously named high school in the state of Vermont. Steeped in tradition and pride, we value our school community and student relationships. With approximately 750 students and 120 staff, we aim to support our students with a variety of MTSS resources and supports. We continue to expand our student offerings through flexible pathways and community service opportunities.
As a member of a three person administrative team, the ideal candidate for principal will be an experienced leader with a strong background in distributive leadership and collaboration. This candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the social and emotional needs of students. They must be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and have strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teacher supervision and evaluation, professional development planning and implementation, continuation and expansion of proficiency based learning and flexible pathways, budget development and oversight and curriculum development.
