The Position

The Boards of Education of the Galva-Holstein/Schaller-Crestland CSD are seeking a highly-qualified, visionary, and fully certified educational leader to serve as Shared Superintendent of Schools, beginning July 1, 2022.

Dr. Tim Grieves and Mr. Gary Richardson, GR Consulting Services, along with Dr. Dan Smith, have been engaged as the consultants in a search for outstanding candidates and will assist the Boards of Education and the Board Secretaries in identifying and screening the applicants. The Galva-Holstein/Schaller-Crestland Community School Districts provide a tremendous opportunity for its next Superintendent of Schools.  The Galva-Holstein/Schaller-Crestland Community Schools serve 792 students served by 180 staff members. The districts have a growing enrollment trend over the past few years that supports a wide variety of academic and extra/co-curricular activities.  In addition to maintaining a strong financial position, the Districts have excellent, well-maintained facilities.
