Job Description
The Hartford School District is looking for a licensed Special Education Case Manager at .5 FTE. There is flexibility in when most of the responsibilities will need to be fulfilled, but the position will also require attendance and participation in team meetings that occur during the school day or right after school.
Responsibilities include facilitating and/or participating in IEP and Evaluation meetings, taking meeting minutes, and writing the IEP and Evaluation Plan and Report Documents. Candidates must have a strong understanding of special education paperwork and processes under the Vermont Regulations, be able to manage a flexible schedule, and have adherence to compliance with timelines.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a Vermont Special Education license and have a minimum of three years experience in the field. In addition, the candidate should have strong writing, communication and organization skills, along with a solid understanding of how to use DocuSped and the Vermont Special Education forms.
