Job Description


The School District of Borough of Morrisville is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Technical Secretary/Child Accounting position. The Technology Secretary/Child Accounting will ensure the accuracy of data contained in district information systems and perform a variety of data entry, information gathering, and reporting activities in accordance with district policies and federal/state reporting requirements. This position will act as the district liaison with regards to PIMS and Student Data to the state and county-wide meetings/trainings to ensure all state reporting is completed accurately. This is a full time, 12-month position. 



  1. High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  2. Two (2) years of post-secondary education and three (3) years secretarial experience, preferably in a public-school setting, or five (5) years of experience in a position of comparable responsibility.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate effectively with students, parents and the community in general.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
  5. Excellent organizational skills – necessary for multi-tasking.
  6. Experience in working with PowerSchool preferred.
  7. Experience in working with Child Accounting preferred.
  8. Experience in working with PIMS preferred. 
  9. High level of accuracy follow up and ability to pay close attention to all details.
  10. Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality.


•This position requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to meet very strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Clearances and other requirements:

Background employment clearances and the following additional paperwok must be completed within the last year to be valid: Arrest/Conviction Report (Act 24), PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), and School Health Record which includes physical (within a year) and TB test (within 3 months).


Salary: Per terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Morrisville Educational Support Personnel Association.
