Qualifications:
Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment in school housekeeping and ability to use them with skill and efficiency.
Ability to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of building surfaces.
Skill in the use of electrical and hand appliances ordinarily used in housekeeping activities.
Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to structures and equipment.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Physical strength to withstand the strain of performing eight hours of manual tasks.
High moral standards and character necessary for association with children.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, students and general public.
Preferably six months of experience in work relating to the care of school buildings and grounds
Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions.
Ability to use email desired.
