Job Description

MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Speech / Language Pathologist to join the instructional staff at Bonny Eagle Middle School in Buxton, Maine, for the 2021-2022 school year.  The Speech/Language Pathologist works to determine the best course of treatment to assist in developing speech and language skills that facilitate personal, social, and intellectual development for students.  As a part of a collaborative team, the Speech/Language Pathologist will be empowered to share expertise, knowledge, and recommendations in order to respond to individual student needs by implementing intervention strategies.

Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; State of Maine Licensing as a Speech/Language Pathologist; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (a Clinical Fellow candidate may be considered); valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC); experience in the field; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.

Salary and benefits are included in the Agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association which is available on the District website.
