Job Description

To implement Discrete Trial Teaching programs and Behavior Support Plans in home settings. To collect outcome data on such programs and review with BCBA to determine progress. Home location in Abington currently available.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Associate’s Degree in Psychology or related field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2.Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) credential preferred.
3.At least 1-year of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and working with students with behavioral challenges.
4.Ability to collect and assist in data analysis.
5.Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
6.Demonstrated initiative.
7.Such alternatives to the above qualifications that the NRC Board of Directors may find appropriate and acceptable.


LENGTH OF POSITION: School-year schedule (183 days) and 5-7 weeks in summer

REPORTS TO: BCBA Supervisor and Coordinator of District Services

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Implements Discrete Trial Teaching and other programs designed by Assistant Behavior Consultant and/or Behavior Consultant.
2.Implements students’ behavior support plans/behavior strategies under guidance of Assistant Behavior Consultant and/or Behavior Consultant.
3.Provides guidance and modeling of teaching and behavior strategies to paraprofessionals and parents as requested.
4.Collects, records, and graphs data.
5.Provides input to Assistant Behavior Consultant and/or Behavior Consultant for quarterly progress reports.
6.Creates visual supports and other materials as requested.
7.Provides student support in crisis situations, consistently implementing predetermined behavioral strategies and safety procedures.
8.Provides timely and accurate notification of Assistant Behavior Consultant and/or Behavior Consultant and other relevant personnel about unusual occurrences or incidents.
9.Provides timely and accurate documentation (e.g. Incident reports, ABC logs, session notes, plan changes).
10.Attends all required trainings, staff meetings, and scheduled supervision meetings.
11.Demonstrates flexibility and abides by scheduled hours.
