Special Education Associate

9 month position (190 days)
7.50 hours
Starting at $15.25

This position qualifies for a $1,500 hiring bonus. The bonus is paid evenly over the the 24 pay periods.

Your compensation is paid over 12 months which includes 24 even pay periods on a semi-monthly basis (15th and last day of the month).  Currently, this is a 190-day calendar and a 7.5-hour work day.  If you start at any point after the start of the school year, your pay will be pro-rated based on the number of paid days remaining.

Job Requirements (one of the following must be met):

(1) 48 credit hours post-secondary education
(2) associate’s degree or higher
(3) paraeducator certification from Board of Educational Examiners
(4) combined score of 150 or higher on the COMPASS test or meet the requirements for the ACCUPlacer exam
