Job Description

WSESU is seeking paraeducators join our Intensive Services team at Putney Central School and Brattleboro Union High School to support children with disabilities. Candidates must have experience working with children with communication challenges, the ability to work collaboratively with a team of providers, skill in using technology for instruction and communication, and capacity to implement academic, self-care, and social support interventions for students. Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum is preferred. These positions work closely with the Special Education Teacher with coaching/support from related service providers and will require support of students’ personal care needs.

Successful candidates will have 2 years of experience working with children, an Associate’s degree in a related field, and the ability to use Google platform. This position will follow the WSESU School Year calendar and is a on a 191 day contract at Wage Grade 4 ($17.31 - $23.31 per hour) with an excellent benefits package.
