STEP (Supportive Teams for Educational Progress) is an inclusion support designed to provide direct intervention to students within a general education environment. The STEP Behavior Interventionist (BI) will develop positive behavior support plans with an educational team, complete functional behavior assessments, provide consultation to student teams, identify and reinforce pro-social replacement behaviors and provide coaching and intervention to students and staff. The STEP BI will be responsible for providing RBTs with supervision and competency assessments that align with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board standards.

Seeking applicants with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA credential (or be working toward certification), experience working with elementary-aged children with social/emotional challenges, familiarity with PBIS practices, excellent problem solving and collaborative skills, and a commitment to inclusive practices in schools. A VT AOE credential is highly preferred. This position will follow the WSESU school year calendar.
