Job Description

Assists the Superintendent and School Board Members by performing projects and clerical duties, including meeting agendas and maintaining files. Works in a highly visible office, frequently dealing with sensitive communications and information while serving as a liaison between the Superintendent and the greater school community.

This position requires the ability to work independently as well as be a team member. Understanding the Superintendent's needs and providing materials timely is essential. Knowledge of Vermont statutes for both schools and municipalities and public records laws is critical. Works collaboratively with the school district staff and Board to create and maintain positive communications with the Maple Run Community. In addition, this person must anticipate needs and self-direct to make everything come together while seeing the big picture and how the pieces fit is an essential part of this position.
