Job Description

The Catholic School of Saint Agnes Parish ( has two campuses. Students from infant through Grade 8 are housed at the Saint Agnes School Campus and students in the Bridge Academy through Grade 12 are housed at the Arlington Catholic High School Campus. We are in a unique position of being able to grow our Campus Ministry program and continue the foundation of the current program and the work of the Sisters of Saint Joseph in our school. We are seeking a full-time Director of Catholic Mission, a new administrative position that will be both Campus Minister and involve duties in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Director of Catholic Mission
The Director of Catholic Mission is a key member of the Administrative Team of the Catholic School of Saint Agnes Parish, with responsibilities in the Middle School and Upper School. This position reports to the Associate Principal for Academics, 6-12, Principal, and the Pastor/Head of School.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that all aspects of school life adhere to Catholic teaching, the School’s connection to and legacy of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, and the School’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and belonging
Develop and coordinate student retreat experiences at the Upper School
Develop and coordinate student service opportunities at the Upper School
Oversee and track student service hours at the Upper School
Coordinate service and retreat opportunities with the Director of the Middle School
Assist the Director of the Middle School and Associate Principal, Infant-5 as needed with Liturgical and other spiritual opportunities
Coordinate liturgical celebrations and other spiritual opportunities (confession, adoration, etc) for the Upper School with the Pastor, Chaplain, Director of Liturgy, and Music Department
Train and coordinate lectors, servers, and Extraordinary Ministers of Communion for school Liturgies
Depending of staffing needs and interest, teach one course at the Upper School
Provide spiritual opportunities to families, especially in Lent and Advent
Plan, in collaboration with the administrative team, the annual faculty retreat
Collaborate with teachers and administration to review content and pedagogy to ensure a diverse and equitable curriculum
Collaborate with the Student Diversity Council
Survey, collate, analyze, and share diversity and equity data to develop interventional response
Advocate for equity for students and staff
Assist the administration in promoting the School to prospective families and the wider community
Assist the Associate Principals and Principal in hiring a diverse staff for the School
Research, design, implement, and share professional development for faculty, and educational opportunities for students
Is a visible presence at school events
Assumes other duties as assigned

Master’s Degree preferred with at least 5 years experience in youth ministry, pastoral ministry, theology, or religious studies.
Practicing Catholic with an active sacramental life and knowledge of current Catholic liturgical theology and practice.
Experience working with youth in a high school, college, or parish setting (experience in secondary education preferred).
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

This is a full-time, 10-month, exempt position that will include evening, weekend and overnight work.
