Job Description

The College Community School District is seeking an experienced, energetic, collaborative and student-centered leader to serve as the next Elementary Principal at Prairie Ridge Elementary School.

College Community School District serves over 6200 students in the Cedar Rapids - Iowa City Corridor. Prairie Ridge serves approximately 450 students in grades PK-4 and employs between 60-75 certified and classified staff. Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Elementary Programs and Superintendent, elementary principals oversee and grow the instructional program in their schools with a focus on Success for ALL students. College Community School District is a leader in the areas of early literacy, personalized learning and PLCs. The successful candidate will display the highest levels of quality in his or her personal communication, confidentiality and ethical decision-making.

Previous administrative experience is preferred.
The salary for this position will be a minimum of $100,000 with the final salary determined based on relevant experience.
The start date for this position will be July 1, 2021.
