Job Description

Walden School is a small PreK through Grade 8 school located in rural Walden, Vermont. We are a close knit community. We seek an experienced special educator to join our amazing team to provide direct service and case management for students.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a love for students, strong organization and management skills, flexibility, creativity, and an ability to work well with students and parents.

The applicant must be able to coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings, be knowledgeable of special education law, complete and maintain special education paperwork according to Vermont state regulations, and work collaboratively as part of student-centered teams of special educators, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, interventionists, and related service providers.
