Job Description

Washington Central Unified Union School District is looking for a positive, experienced, and enthusiastic educator to join U-32's dynamic Physical & Health Education Department in a position that will teach both Physical and Health Education classes at the middle and high school level with a focus on adventure-based learning, strength and conditioning, and knowledge and expertise in health education content. This position also includes responsibilities as Teacher Advisor for 8-10 students.

Knowledge of Common Core, Vermont proficiency-based graduation requirements, and 21st Century learning as well as the ability to create proficiency-based lessons and units. Candidates must be able to work creatively and collaboratively to create an environment that invites respect for all persons, relate a sense of fairness, and practice commitment to inclusion and diversity.

The 760 student, 7-12 school is located on a beautiful campus in Central Vermont. U-32 is an individualistic, student-centered school with an outstanding reputation in academics, athletics, and the arts.
