All 5 of our New England schools are unique unto themselves, but all share academic and vocational supports as core elements of Becket’s holistic philosophy which emphasizes comprehensive services that promote the strengths and development of the whole person, and not just a focus on areas of weakness or concern. Academics are a core element of all treatment plans, and the client’s sending school district is seen as a critical stakeholder in our planning efforts. Vocational development is likewise seen as a core skill as we promote the process of transition to adulthood. At their core, our vocational programs seek to develop a sense of responsibility and diligent work ethic, the most critical vocational skill of all! Becket operates several schools. Each school is certified to provide special education services and also provide a range of applied learning modules.
