Job Description

Essex Westford School District is seeking a temporary substitute Literacy Intervention Specialist at Essex Middle School beginning May 10, 2021 for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. The Literacy Intervention Specialist will provide support school-wide in the area of literacy instruction, curriculum and student assessment.

Candidates with previous experience teaching literacy skills are encouraged to apply. Current educator license in the State of VT is preferred but not required for this substitute position. Familiarity of best practices in literacy instruction and assessment preferred. Effective facilitation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail are required.

The pay rate for this substitute position is $126/day for non-licensed candidates and $260/day for licensed educators.
