Job Description

Grades K-8 Northborough/Southborough
Stipend: 95 hours (5 hours per day, 4 days per week, for 5 weeks except 7/5/2021) at an hourly rate.
Experienced Hourly Rate: $22.50
Inexperienced Hourly Rate: $18.50
Responsibilities include:
• 4 days/week, Monday–Thursday, 5 hours per day (9:00 AM –2:00 PM)
  • A 10 minute break will be provided each day.
    • Assist in instructing students with academic and social pragmatic challenges in reading/language arts, math and social skills using multi-modal, thematic lessons; collect data, implement behavior plans, help support students’ IEP goals and objectives; contribute information for progress reports.

      These summer program models are designed for students with multiple and/or complex disabilities who are supported with significant special education services during the school year and require instruction in academic areas and social pragmatics to prevent substantial regression during the summer months. The program model incorporates multi-sensory, individual and small group instruction with hands on projects that support language development, academic and social pragmatic skills. Instruction is based on high interest themes that align with curriculum content areas. Programming also includes recreational opportunities designed to facilitate social skills, group interactions, and social problem solving skills.
