Job Description

The Burr and Burton Academy Special Services Department seeks two full-time paraeducators to provide direct services to students with disabilities, effective immediately. Ideal candidates have experience working with students who face behavioral, academic, and/or attention challenges. The first position requires working with students (one-on-one and in small groups) in the classroom for academic support. The second position requires working one-on-one with a student to implement a behavior intervention plan and to provide direct instruction. For both positions, a calm, supportive demeanor and willingness to work as a collaborative team member is a must.
