Seeking dynamic teacher with strong commitment to active anti-racism for our 8th grade mathematics team. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach and assess middle school math students, and develop curriculum, instruction and assessment materials aligned with the course sequence. Strong mathematics background required.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will plan and teach 4 sections of mathematics as well as work collaboratively with the middle school department chair, and members of the grade 8 mathematics department and cluster teams to support student learning and growth.


A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree preferred. The candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. They should have experience working with and/or teaching middle school students; an understanding of the needs of students at this age; a collaborative work ethic; training/experience in the use of instructional technology; a commitment to inclusive pedagogy; and the potential to contribute to student life beyond the classroom.


Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as a middle school Mathematics teacher.
