Job Description

Key Responsibilities
•Provide daily coverage for staff throughout the school, with a focus on specific grade levels while in hybrid mode only
•Provide coverage in other Hamilton-Wenham elementary schools as needed
•Support school-wide duties (e.g., lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal)
•Provide individual and small group instruction, both in-person and remotely
•Assist teachers in developing and implementing strategies to reinforce skills and content
•Collaborate with teachers and related service providers
•Support social-distancing, mask-wearing, and other COVID-related policies
•Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal

Schedule
•Position will work two full days per week: either Monday and Tuesday, or Thursday and Friday, but only while the district is in the hybrid mode

    Miles River Middle School
    The Miles River Middle School is a comprehensive middle school that serves grades six through eight with a rigorous academic program focused on the areas of Mathematics, English, Social Studies, Science, and Foreign Language. At Miles River, we work to meet the needs of all of our students through the professional culture of our faculty, by working in partnership with our families, and by incorporating principles of learning that are focused on developing ongoing and meaningful relationships with our students.     Job Requirements

    • Desired Qualifications
      •Bachelor's degree
      •Teaching experience preferred, ideally in a diverse public school setting
      •Competent with technology, including Google Suite and Zoom
      •Strong work ethic and an eagerness to improve
      •A commitment to doing whatever it takes to support students learning and development


    • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
