World Language Dept. Coordinator (FTE 0.25)/World Language Teacher (FTE 0.75)

Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing daily department functions
Supporting the French, German, Latin, Mandarin, and Spanish programs
Balancing sub-department needs with the needs of the departments as a whole
Acting as a liaison between the department, the rest of the school, and the K-8 feeder districts
Managing scheduling, budget, curriculum, exams, and hiring
Serving as a resource for department members in student learning, organizational problem-solving, and world language teaching techniques

Additional Requirements:
Master’s Degree or higher
Certification in at least one of the programs taught in the department
Successful adult leadership experience in a collaborative setting
Excellence in teaching high school students of all grades and academic levels

    Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is organized in a house system.
    Ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students are divided among three
    houses. Each house is staffed by a housemaster, counselors, and a house
    assistant, with access to a clinical counselor and curriculum/scheduling
    support. Additional services are provided through Special Education.
