Job Description
The Perkins Child Development Center is a NAEYC accredited program that provides an enriched and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that encourages their imagination, challenges their thinking skills, and enhances their social and language development. We believe that play which fosters exploration is essential to learning. We are sensitive to the cultural, social, and economic needs of the families we serve and place significant value on their involvement.
Responsibilities:
The Early Childhood Educator will work in our Child Development Center and will provide an enriched and engaging environment for young children that encourage their imagination, challenges their thinking skills, and enhances their social and language development. The Educator will work with the Lead Teacher in providing daily care, education, and recreation of children, including the daily operations of the classroom.
Requirements:
-Must be EEC Qualified
-BA in early childhood development preferred
-3 years of experience with preschool-aged children
Shift:
Mon-Fri, Per-Diem as needed.
