POSITION SUMMARY
The Grounds Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of grounds and sports field maintenance on a 67-acre campus. Work assignments include safe and proficient equipment operation, pruning, irrigation, gardening, mowing, minor repairs, integrated pest control, waste removal, reporting of conditions, and other work as required. Performs work as designated essential personnel for inclement or extreme weather.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The primary focus of this position is grounds maintenance with emphasis on beds, mowing, arbor care, irrigation, roofs and gutters, and hard surfaces maintenance on the campus.

This role requires daily interactions with facilities team and frequent contact with faculty, staff and students, with occasional contact with parents, trustees, alumni, and visitors.

Schedule: This position is year-round, full time at 40 hours a week. Specific days and hours will be determined by the Grounds Supervisor. Requires occasional mandatory evening and weekend overtime work.
