Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is looking for motivating, engaging, and diverse educators and encourages all who are interested in diversity, equity and social justice to consider working with us. We are searching for staff who are passionate about working with young people and helping them to prepare for the future.

WSESU is seeking paraeducators to support students with disabilities at the Brattleboro Area Middle School and Brattleboro Union High School. Responsibilities will include supporting access to academic instruction, implementing behavior intervention plans, data collection, and supporting student social/emotional/academic needs under the guidance of the student’s special education case manager. Preferred candidates will have experience working with students with disabilities, working collaboratively as part of an educational team, effective communication skills, and excellent problem solving skills. The position requires proficiency in the Google platform. .

Candidates must have 2 years post-high school education and relevant work experience supporting adolescents with disabilities. The position is on a 191-day (prorated) contract, wage grade 3 ($15.56 to $21.56 an hour based on experience), 6.5 hours a day and follows the WSESU school year calendar.
