Job Description

Beeman Elementary is seeking a Kindergarten/first grade multi-age class starting November 9, 2020 through June of 2021. The ideal candidate to join our small but dynamic team of teachers should possess a passion, flexibility and a positive energy for supporting students in their efforts to achieve academic, social and emotional success.

Responsibilities include:
1-Create a classroom environment and climate which is open, flexible and conducive to learning.
2-Understand and demonstrate current best practices in teaching and learning within a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
3-Communicate effectively, positively and frequently with parents, students and colleagues.
4-Works well in a small school setting by being flexible and willing to have the “do whatever it takes” attitude to best support our school and students.

    Job Requirements

    • State of Vermont Professional Educator License for Classroom Teacher or the ability to obtain
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
