Job Description

Two part time positions are being offered to the right candidate as a full time teaching position.
Teaching high school mathematics to gifted middle school students in a small private school. Must be able to teach any math between sixth grade level and high school honors calculus. Passion, enthusiasm and flexibility required. Understanding of gifted and middle school age children necessary. Understanding of asynchronous development, social/ emotional needs of gifted children and ability to differentiate instruction is preferred. Certification not required.
Teaching computer and related technology to Kindergarten through eighth grade gifted students in a small private school. Experience with hands-on, inquiry driven teaching required as well as passion, enthusiasm and flexibility. Understanding of gifted elementary and middle school age children necessary. Teaching topics and materials used include, but are not limited to, object oriented programing, logic, code.org, microbits, Scratch, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python, HTML, Java. Position could include managing our LMS and SIS systems.
Facility is a campus with room for social distancing. Class sizes are variable but usually not more than 10 students in a class. Use of outdoor space will be encouraged during this time.
