Saint Agnes School, in collaboration with Arlington Catholic High School, is part of the Catholic School of Saint Agnes Parish (www.achssas.org). We serve students from infancy through Grade 8 at our campus, who then continue on at ACHS for Grades 9-12. We are in search of a Director of Early Childhood whose primary focus will be launching our new infant/toddler program. This is an exciting opportunity to be a founding leader of this program. The program is scheduled to open in Fall 2020 and will offer year-round, full day, highest quality early education for infants and toddlers. We are seeking a knowledgeable, dynamic leader to serve as this Director. Please note, this position includes both teaching and leadership responsibilities. Candidates should be strong team players, innovative and adaptive thinkers, open to feedback, effective communicators, and most importantly, passionate about early childhood education. This program will be managed by Saint Agnes School and will benefit from the support of an existing model and leadership framework.

Responsibilities include:
-Inspire, guide, and support a team of early childhood educators and a community of families as the leader and supervisor of the Early Childhood Program at Saint Agnes School
-Manage all center operations, including staffing, finance, and facilities
-Proactively pursue the professional development of staff members and self
-Build and maintain strong relationships with enrolled families through excellent verbal and written communication and positive interactions
-Work in collaboration with Director of Enrollment to forecast and manage enrollment in order to determine availability and timing of open spaces
-Actively engage prospective families in the community
-Monitor classroom attendance and staff ratios to ensure regulatory compliance
-Perform administrative duties including required documentation, filing, emails, phone calls, and organizational tasks
-Uphold the vision, professionalism, and mission of Saint Agnes School/Arlington Catholic High School
-Model ideal behaviors and coach educators to classroom excellence to uphold the integrity of the curriculum
-Mentor and train new teachers in curriculum, GOLD objectives, and all areas of instruction
-Effectively develop and evaluate learning guidance tools for staff and classrooms, including progress monitoring, ITERS/ECERS, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and ASQs
-Teach in the classroom as needed to maintain state ratios
-Other duties as assigned to strengthen the quality of the program
