Special Education Extended School Year Program

Weymouth Schools is seeking applications for the following positions:

5 week positions: July 6-Aug 7 M-F(hours vary)
CEP Program Teachers (PreK, Primary, Secondary Levels),
RBT Trained Paraprofessionals, BCBA, SLP, OT, PT, Door Monitors

4 week positions: July 6-July 31 M-F(hours vary)
TLC Program Teachers (Primary, Secondary levels), Social Skills Teachers (PreK), IRC Teachers,
Life Skills Program Teachers (PreK, Primary, Secondary levels), School Adjustment Counselors, LBLD Teachers,
Summer Academic Maintenance Tutors (Primary and Secondary levels), SLP, OT, PT, Vision and Mobility(hourly as needed),
Paraprofessionals(all levels), 1:1 Nurses ( CNA, LPN, RN)

Licensure with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a teacher of students with Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 required for all teachers. Tutors, counselors, nurses, speech, OT's and PT's must be DESE licensed.

      An Act Relative to Background Checks


      On January 10, 2013, Governor Deval Patrick signed into law H.4307, an act relative to background checks. The new law requires all newly hired employees, beginning in the 2013-2014 school year, to submit to state and national fingerprint-based criminal background checks.

      As a new employee of the Weymouth Public Schools, you will be subject to a Massachusetts criminal background check (CORI). In addition, you will be required to submit to a National Criminal Background Check by fingerprint.

      The fee charged is $55.00 for licensed educators and $35 for all other school personnel.
