Job Description

Sharon Public Schools is looking for a .6 (eqiv.of 3 days per week) School Psychologist at Sharon High School. The School Psychologist will conduct Psycho-Educational evaluations and be able to produce a report and develop appropriate recommendations for interventions and programming. The evaluations will be for in-distrct and out of disctrict students. Present evaluations, assessments and recommendations at annual, three year reevaluations, initial meetings and progress meetings. The school psychologist will provide counseling services for students in need. The school psychologist will collaborate with internal and external providers to support a service continuum. Provide consultation to parents/guardians, teachers, other school personnel and community agencies to enahance the learning and adjustment of students.

    Sharon, MA is located 22 miles midway between Boston and Providence, it has access to Boston and Providence via MBTA commuter trains, and to New York City and Washington, D.C., via Amtrak trains at nearby Route 128 station.
