Job Description

The EASTCONN Autism Program is a dynamic, highly structured program working with children with ASD. We have a growing program for children who require a specialized instruction for academic, behavioral and functional skills Our classroom is based on ABA principles and supported by a BCBA. There is a strong emphasis on social skill development, speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, sensory integration and assistive technology.

Full time, 11 month position.

Applicant must have a SDE certification in Special Education K-12.

Experience in a classroom for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Experience working in an ABA classroom and in communication disorders.

Good leadership, organizational and team work skills are a must.

BCBA supervision is able to be provided for a qualified candidate seeking certification.
