Job Description

• Teach students the fundamental principles of music and musicianship skills, including music
theory and basic notation
• Develop in each pupil an appreciation of music as part of general culture
• Follow the prescribed music curriculum
• Prepare for concerts/performances
• Discover and develop talents of pupils in the field of music.
• Develop pupil's knowledge and skills in listening to and reading music.

    Job Requirements

    • DEGREE: Master’s degree preferred

      EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of experience in an elementary school setting


      • Current Massachusetts Teacher Certification in General Music K-8
      • Piano/keyboard and guitar background is preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
