Job Description

Bristol Elementary School is seeking a full-time librarian for our 2020-2021 school year.

Responsibilities include management of all media and library technology services. We seek a dynamic, energetic individual who loves books and learning, teaching classes to students K-6 on various library skills, managing the library resources, dedication to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for students through our PBIS model, and ordering and cataloging library/media materials electronically.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the Reader's Workshop model for literacy instruction, and can provide instruction to scholars as well as support to educators. Applicants with a background in literacy are preferred.

    Job Requirements

    • State of Vermont issued professional educator license with Library/Media endorsement
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
