Job Description

Rick Marcotte Central School is seeking a Elementary Educator for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year (March-June 2020).

This position is expected to act as an Intervention Educator by assisting assigned classrooms teachers with Literacy and Math in existing elementary classes due to increased student enrollment in the middle of this school year. Exact job duties are pending and will be posted once approved by the Superintendent.

1) Bachelor’s Degree.
2) Valid Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement for content and/or grade level.
3) Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program.
4) Ability to plan and implement lessons based on school and district objectives and the needs and abilities of assigned students.
5) Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents/guardians.
6) Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements, applicable laws, and Board policies.
7) Demonstrated ongoing commitment to workplace diversity, sustainability, and delivering exceptional customer service.
