Job Description

Agricultural Mechanics and General Technology Teacher

Missisquoi Valley Union Middle/High School is a Comprehensive High School in search of a candidate to teach Agricultural Mechanics and General Technology to our middle and high school students. The goal of the program is to effectively prepare our students for the agricultural work environment, inclusive of the necessary technical and interpersonal skills.

Teaching responsibilities will include providing engaging, high quality instruction in a variety of topics, such as: workplace safety skills, general shop skills, principles of engine operation, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. The classroom will reflect an operational shop where student will regularly work on powered equipment. Students will be expected to meet Vermont Technical Education Competencies in Agricultural Mechanics.
