Job Description

Early Education Services at Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking a dynamic early childhood special educator to join our team to provide high-quality, effective instruction using evidence-based and developmentally appropriate instruction.

The successful candidate will:
  • Have working knowledge of Vermont Early Childhood Special Education and IDEA rules, including identification and evaluation, planning and instruction, and progress monitoring
  • Take a leadership role in the local Early Childhood community
  • Be familiar with and/or trained in Early Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
  • Work in an accurate, timely and confidential manner with excellent time management and communication skills
  • Maintain an open mind about diverse populations of children and adults

    Job Requirements

    • Required Level of Education & Experience
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
      • Experience teaching is preferred, but not required
      • Must hold or be able to obtain a Vermont Educator’s License with Early Childhood Education Special Education endorsement

      • Bachelor degree preferred
      • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
