Job Description

Candidates need to be licensed as a school social worker with the Vermont Agency of Education

Minimum Requirements:
? Master’s degree in social work, or the equivalent.
? Supervised internship experience as per the Vermont Agency of Education licensing guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Serves as a liaison between the school, families and community agencies.
? Provides counseling and support to all students, as needed.
? Provides information regarding community services and resources to parents and staff.
? Consults with various teams such as EST, BST, and 504 to assist students.
? Presents classroom curriculum such as Act 1, as determined by administration.
? Serves on school teams to represent student and family needs.
? Consults with parents and agencies to assist students, providing referrals when needed.

Salary & Benefits: According to the Teachers’ Master Agreement.
