Early Childhood Special Education - Communication Facilitator

WSESU is in search of a Communication Facilitator to support a deaf 3 year old child 23.5 hours/week in an inclusive early childhood classroom. Successful candidates will be fluent in ASL, have experience interpreting spoken language for deaf and hard of hearing children, their peers, and teachers in an early childhood classroom, and be familiar with appropriate accommodations and equipment. Ability to conduct trainings and teach basic sign language to preschool teachers a plus.

Successful applicants will have energy, a commitment to inclusion, a sense of humor, a positive disposition, and enjoy working as part of a team. This position will follow the WSESU school year calendar.
