Job Description

The Mental Health Specialist is responsible for working with children and families in our center based preschool program. The specialist takes an active part in role-modeling and supporting teachers in classrooms and implements the Second Step Curriculum for S/E Development in all Preschool Classrooms. The Mental Health Specialist is also responsible for complying with the Head Start Mental Health performance standards.

    Job Requirements

    • LCSW Certification and experience working with children under the age of 5.
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
