Job Description

Position: Behavior Assistant

Location: Memorial Elementary School

Schedule: 30 - hours per week

Salary: $15.00 per hour

To Start: September 2019

? Bachelor’s degree preferred
? Knowledge and experience of the following are preferred:
• Previous Special Education experience
• Experience working with young children with disabilities
• Behavior management training
• CPI restraint training
? Willing and able to train
• Provide 30 hours of direct educational services
• Work with children with disabilities
• Toileting as needed
• Work collaboratively with others in classroom
• Create opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills
• Completion of daily log as necessary
• Maintain student notebook in neat and orderly manner
• Maintain student specific materials, reinforcers
• Participate in program meetings/trainings
• Review progress on IEP goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Teacher and/or Administrator
