Job Description

Position: Behavior Assistant

Location: Woodland Elementary School

Schedule: 2019-2020 School Year

Salary: $15.00/ hour

To Start: September 2019

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge and experience of the following are preferred:
- Previous Special Education experience
- Experience working with elementary school aged children
- Behavior management training preferred
- Restraint Training preferred
• Willing and able to train
Duties:
• Provide direct educational services
• Assistant will be asked to work with all students in the class
• Work collaboratively with others in the classroom
• Create opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills
• Data collection on targeted skills
• Maintain student notebook in neat and orderly manner
• Maintain student specific materials, reinforcers
• Participate in program meetings/trainings
• Review progress on IEP goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by Teacher and/or Administrator
