Job Description

Make a Difference in Children is a private group of special education and early intervention providers that believes we CAN "make a difference" in the lives of each and every child we serve. At MDC we provide evidence-based, behavioral and educational services to young children on the autism spectrum, using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

MDC is currently seeking bright and energetic experienced ABA behavior therapists who are highly motivated and can take initiative. The ABA therapist will be responsible working one on one with young children in the home to improve language and communication, play and social skills, and daily living skills and will be supervised by a BCBA. Data collection specified in the teaching plan and maintenance of the data book is required.Candidates must enjoy working with young children, preferably have a Bachelor’s degree, and have interest in or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field. This position is a fee for service position in the South Shore area (including Braintree, Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, Norwell, Scituate and Weymouth )Interested in learning more and becoming part of the MDC team. Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree. A highly qualified candidate would have at least two years experience in implementation of ABA programs.

Must have reliable transportation in order to travel to homes of our clients (South Shore, MA)

Base pay: $20 - $35.00 per hour based on experience.

•At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Communicate professionally with parents, guardians and family members in home settings

Document session notes

Deliver consistent, punctual, reliable service per the client’s service schedule

Complete company sponsored Registered Behavior Technician certification or recertification

At least two (2) references must be from a professional or academic supervisor

•Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
