Job Description


1. Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
2. MA Certification in Occupational Therapy
3. Flexibility with respect to caseloads and scheduling
4. SIPT Training Preferred

Reports to: Director of Special Education/Elementary Special Education Coordinator

Performance Responsibilities:

1. Direct Service to students, primarily K-5 in two elementary buildings.
2. Provide Individual and small group therapy - developmental gross motor, developmental fine motor, and sensory integration.
3. Work with students inside general education classrooms as well as in some pull-out therapy.
4. Administer OT evaluations and write reports
5. Attend IEP meetings and participate in IEP Team process
6. Serve as OT Liaison for students
7. Attend parent-teacher conferences
8. Consult with building learning team
9. Participate in Kindergarten screening
10. Consult with Classroom Teachers

Salary level is pursuant to collective bargaining agreement between the Arlington School Committee and Arlington Education Association and will be determined based on education level and previous public school experience.

    Job Requirements
